On July 11, 1897 Solomon August Andrée, Knut Frönkel and Nils Strindberg launched into the conquest of the North Pole. For years, no one heard of these three fearless. Until, in 1930, the remains of the expeditionaries were found, along with an on-board journal and several photographic reels that, miraculously, an expert managed to reveal.
